so today i will post my drawing of the week seeing as i havent done one of them in a while. so i will post a drawing that i have worked quite hard on drawing but some parts look a bit strange. i have drawn all the members of slipknot in the All Hope Is Gone masks hope you like it.

i know that i dont put a post up that often anymore but i have been rather busy. it is only 2 weeks until sonisphere knebworth and slipknot are doing a special tribute to the late paul gray. 2 minutes of silence and a book of condolences for paul gray. so in the theme of the world famous band slipknot i will have a video of the week about them and the drawing for this week will be the whole slipknot band it was quite hard to draw but i will post that on wednesday.

so i know i havent posted anything in a while so tonight i will post a video of the week and news about what will be coming up on this blog within the next few weeks.
video of the week is SIC from Slipknot because they are back with their first appearance at sonisphere in the good old red jumpsuits and old school masks.

KERRANG AWARDS 2011 TV COVERAGE

hey Everyone

So today i found that you can no longer vote for your favourite nominated bands because soon the winners will be revealed. The kerrang awards this year will be held in London, UK at The garage thursday 9th June 2011 and if you want to watch it yourself the ticket prices are

• standing £15.00
• with booking fee £16.87
• doors open 7pm and that is also when the show begins
• must be 14 and over to go and 14- 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult

There will be Tv coverage from 6pm to 1:30am UK time on the Kerrang channel on Friday 10th June 2011 I am not sure that there is Tv coverage in other countries because Golden God awards which is held in the USA was not televised in the UK.it will also be televised on kerrang at 930pm to 2am on thursday however im not sure if it is the same coverage because the show on friday is longer and there is also a show on saturday night at 1015 to 1120

So first of all this week there is no drawing, but because of this i will draw two for next week. Anyways first of all if you read Kerrang every week you will have collected the CD that has come with this weeks issue and you will have heard of the Slipknot exhibition which will take place in London and the photographer Paul harries will be there.

Converge have had to cancel some US shows because one of their members has been taken to hospital because he had a health scare and was taken to A&E. Converge were forced to cancel a string of U.S. dates after an undisclosed member took ill and had to be rushed to hospital.
"On our day drive from St. Louis to Austin, one of our members had a serious health scare," the band explain in an official statement on their website. "We rushed him to the nearest ER were he was looked at by some fine Oklahoma doctors. After a night's stay in the hospital and a battery of tests we were able to have him discharged earlier today. We are now racing (quite literally) to make it to our show at Chaos In Tejas, albeit extremely late, to play an abbreviated set. Wish us luck.
"Because of this health issue, we are canceling the remaining few shows of this current U.S. tour so he can get home and get some medical attention as soon as possible," they continue. "To those in Little Rock, Nashville, and Raleigh, we will add you to our list of places for make up shows later down the road."
The band's scheduled show at London's Islington Academy will go ahead as planned. For tickets,

Black Veil Brides Legacy

Hey everyone

So today was the day that Black veil Brides were to post a premiere of their new video for the song Legacy. They did post it on their youtube site which is blackveilBridesTV but it was removed for copyright reasons, which makes no sense seeing as it is their song and video which they have worked so hard on. As soon as i find this video i will post it however i have been searching as soon as i heard that it was posted.

Anyways in other news i have to pick a video/music of the week and i would post the song legacy but that has also been removed from youtube or edited so instead i have chosen Escape the Fate zombie dance.

BVB Army, MCR USA and Paul Gray

so today i have quite a bit of news. So i will start of with MCR. They have announced a USA tour with Blink 182 also known as the honda civic tour this summer.

My next piece of news is that exactly a year ago today we lost Slipknot's bassist Paul Gray known to the Maggots as #2. For you who dont know Maggots are slipknot fans. Stay SIC Maggots.

And for Black Veil Brides fans (Bridesmaids) we finally have a new video for us all. Fallen Angels has finally been released today on to youtube.

So this post is for you avenged sevenfold fans. Now if you remember back to when Nightmare was about to come out, A7X kept leaking clues and parts of the album on their website. E.g. anagrams, fill in the missing letters, highlight the website to find hidden buttons. Well today on twitter i woke up to find that they are at it again so here is the first clue:

Hey Everyone

So this message goes out to all those Bring me the horizon fans. The Drummer Matt Nicholls for the band has broken his arm from playing a footy game with Parkway Drive and The Architects. It was an accident he says.
" It were a lovely day so members of BMTH, Parkway Drive and Architects decided to play footy and i made the stupid mistake of going in the net. the ball came to me and i knocked it away with my hands and Winston from Parkway drive clipped my hand with his foot and there you have it, one broken hand. I have to see a specialist in Sheffield to see if i need surgery or not but i'm not gonna be picking up drumsticks for about 6 weeks. It was an accident and you know, shit happens but i'll tell you now, it's the last time i wear gardening gloves in the net!"

HOWEVER BMTH are touring the UK right now and will carry on but Architects drummer Dan Searle will be temporarily playing drums for the BMTH as well as his own band Architects.

Hey everyone

So today i decided that i am going to put the drawing, of Andy (black veil brides) up so that i can start thinking of the next person to draw. Although some of my friends have given a list of people to pick from and most of them are MCR photos. SO..... here is the drawing of the week and i hope you like it.

So this image took me a while to draw, however the hardest bit was creating the warpaint that, Black veil Brides members and fans use. I will admit to using tracing paper however, i only used it on the nose and eye purely because they, are the parts i seem to struggle drawing but, i tried to draw the eye on my own at first and it just didnt look right.

So today i was looking through the internet to see if there was any music news, for me to report on and i believe that i have found a lot.

So for the first piece, i have been told that Korn is to team up with the band Skrillex for a new track. I also found out that Escape the fate have started making their new video for Gorgeous Nightmare, which i can imagine will be amazing. I have also found out that Blink 182 have postponed their summer tour, because they have decided to work on their fourthcoming album.

The other day a new band tweeted me asking if i could listen to their music to see if i liked it and if i did i could give them a vote to help them get signed. This new band is called Raven face. So being interested in music i listened to a song of theirs called The resurrection and i absolutely loved it. If you like Asking Alexandria or music similar you will love these guys. They are a band from northern England with influences such as Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Lamb of God, Devildriver, 36 Crazyfists and so on.

So basically because i like their music so much i made their video for the resurrection my video of the week. Enjoy their music as much as i do and visit their websites to hear more from them and if you like them vote for them at the end of this post.

Asking Alexandria and Black veil Brides!

hey everyone

so today has been another wounderful day because of the weather however i have still listened to some music such as:

I have also found out today that Asking Alexandria frontman is considering rehab for alcohol however they are planning on finishing their tour cycle first. PLUS if there are any black veil brides fans reading this you must look out for their song in the new movie Scream 4 i believe the song is called Set the world on fire.

Today is the day that we remember the death of yet another great musician Peter Steele who was the frontman of the band Type O negative. When he died he was only 48 years old and he died of heart failure.

Today as i was looking through the internet i had found some news about AC / DC. The band have decided that they will be attending the film screening in London on May 9th. It is a DVD that was filmeed on their Black ice world tour in Buenos Aires 2009.

Andy Six and Seether news

So today i was searching the tinterweb and came across some news about black veil brides frontman Andy Sixx, he has decided to go by his real name now, which will be Andy Biersack he told kerrang,
"It's not necessarily like I'm trying to abolish the name [Andy Six]," he explains. "I don't mind if people call me that as it's always been a nickname. The name was always like a defense mechanism when I was a kid, but I no longer have to hide behind that. I'm very happy with who I am and what I've created."

In other news seethers ex guitarist joins Evanescence which the frontman is not to pleased with because Amy lee his ex girlfriend is the lead singer of Evanescence. He had this to say

Today was also Mother's Day and i unfortunately couldn't think of a song to do with today, however i have been listening to Black Veil Brides, Children surrender. So i am making that the song of today lol.

I have also watched a clip of Escape The Fate "On the Road" Exclusive, which goes behind the scenes of Escape the Fate and it's looking amazing so far and i will be looking forward to seeing it. I have also listened to Escape The Fate 'City of Sin' today and that is off the self titled album Escape The Fate. Anyway this song sounds absolutely amazing as does the album.

I need to see one of these bands live!!!!!

Singing dog AND good charlotte
